The Cole Camp Bluebirds took the early lead and continued to pull away Monday night in a 47-30 win over Lincoln in a Kaysinger Conference girls basketball game at Cole Camp.
The Bluebirds led 13-9 after one quarter, 27-20 at halftime and 36-23 after three quarters, holding Lincoln to 10 points in the second half.
“We stepped it up defensively in the second half,” said Cole Camp coach Brooke Ogle.
Kaleena Logan led Cole Camp with 15 points. Kaylee Kestner and Emily Pritzel each scored eight with Pritzel also grabbing seven rebounds.
Allison Spunaugle paced Lincoln with 10 points, and Morgan Strathman added seven.
Cole Camp (9-9, 5-2) will host Warsaw at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Lincoln (2-13, 1-5) will play at Northwest at 7 p.m. Thursday.
