Boys prep basketball: Tipton 69, Green Ridge 55

The third-seeded Tipton Cardinals outscored the Green Ridge Tigers 17-6 in the third quarter Saturday night to win the third-place game of the W-K Kaysinger Conference boys basketball tournament 69-55 at the Fred E. Davis Multipurpose Center.

Green Ridge, the fourth seed, led 16-14 after one quarter and 30-29 at halftime.
