S-C grad ranked No. 1 in nation

Kristi Miller, a 2009 Smith-Cotton graduate, is ranked No. 1 in the nation in digs.

Miller plays libero for St. Louis Community College at Meramec, a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association. She averages 12.58 digs per set, according to the NJCAA Web site.

Former State Fair Community College player Alyssa Blinzler ranks third with 8.9.

Another former SFCC player, Nicole Hopp, ranks No. 1 in blocks per set 2.41.

Blinzler and Hopp play for Meramec.
