Evangel takes out Mo. Valley in OT

Evangel outscored Missouri Valley 13-8 in overtime Monday night in Springfield to win the men’s basketball game 71-66.
The Vikings took a 32-29 halftime lead, but Evangel rallied in the second half to force overtime in the Heart of America Athletic Conference matchup.
Craig Jones and Rouven Haenig paced Missouri Valley with 13 points each.
Spud Harbour scored a game-high 24 points for Evangel.
