SFCC men's cagers fall to Fort Scott

State Fair Community College’s men’s basketball team didn’t finish strong Friday night in a 72-66 loss to Fort Scott, Kan.
SFCC head coach Dale Ribble said that Fort Scott made the plays at the end, and his team did not in the first-round game of the Allen County Classic in Iola, Kan.
Clifton Fleming paced State Fair with 21 points, Justyn Watkins had 11 and Jay Lee scored 10.
Fort Scott led 31-28 at halftime.
State Fair (2-1) will meet Allen County at 8 tonight in the second round.
