State Fair women finish off Pirates

State Fair Community College outscored North Central 26-8 Tuesday night to close out the Lady Pirates 73-55.

The SFCC women’s basketball team couldn’t shake North Central, needing a 10-0 run to end the first half to take a 39-29 lead at intermission of a game played in Trenton.

Brittany Young paced the Lady Roadrunners with 31 points. Tatianna Washington added 13.

Jaleisha Barrett led SFCC (5-0) with 10 rebounds. Arriana Walker had team highs of 11 assists and seven steals.
