Second-seeded Cole Camp went cold at the wrong time Thursday.

The Bluebirds scored just six points in the fourth quarter and lost 53-45 to third-seeded Skyline in the semifinals of the Class 3, District 13, boys basketball tournament in Versailles.

The game was close for most of the contest, according to Versailles coach Kent Chamberlain, until Skyline started to open a cushion in the final four minutes.

The two teams were tied at 13 after the first quarter, but Skyline took a 23-21 lead at halftime. Cole Camp responded to take a lead of its own at 39-37 after three quarters, but Skyline outscored the Bluebirds 16-6 in the fourth for the win.

Travis Goosen paced Cole Camp with 18 points while Kelsey Weymuth added 16 points.

Blaine Carter scored 16 to lead Skyline, who also got 15 points from Cameron Yates.

Skyline will face top-seeded Eugene in the championship at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
