Iowa won the Junior Girls Four-State Team Championship on Thursday at Sedalia Country Club.
The team, which hadnít won this tournament since 2004 ó also at Sedalia Country Club ó recorded a team-best 588 to win the two-day competition.
Jessie Sindlinger, of Charles City, Iowa was the individual champion with a tournament record 5-under 135 (67-68) on the par-70 course.
Nebraska placed second with a 604, Missouri was† third with 618 and Kansas was fourth because only four of the teamís five players competed.
Jordan Chael, of Overland Park, Kan., paced Missouri with a two-day total of 142 (70-72).
Missouri had won six of the previous eight team titles.
