Girls prep basketball: Richmond 47, Knob Noster 25

The Richmond girls basketball team built a commanding halftime lead Monday night and beat the Knob Noster Lady Panthers basketball team 47-24 in Knob Noster.
Richmond led 14-3 after one quarter, 34-9 at halftime and 38-19 after three quarters of the Missouri River Valley Conference East matchup.
Holly Chabotte paced the Lady Panthers with nine points. Kelsey Beasley added eight points and a team-high six rebounds.
Richmond won the JV game 22-8.
