Sacred Heart salvaged fifth place in the Kaysinger Conference tournament with a 12-2, six-inning win over Lincoln on Thursday at Centennial Park.



Cale Spangler scattered nine hits in a complete-game win, striking out eight. He allowed a run in the fourth and a Cody Bennefeld home run in the fifth.



The third-seeded Gremlins (9-3) struck for one in the first inning, two in the second, four in the third, four in the fifth and one in the sixth.



Caleb Tanguay and Rock Curry each had three hits; and Ben Smeltzer, Jackson Smith and Spangler each notched two hits.
