Smith-Cotton’s girls tennis team (4-0) overcame losses by its top two singles players to beat Knob Noster 6-3 on Tuesday in a nonconference road match.
In singles play, Bailey Smith lost 8-3 and Leah Carr lost 8-3 before the next four players racked up wins — Taylor Smith (8-4), Kathleen Matz (8-2), Ashlee Slack (8-2) and Alyssa Schoen (8-0).
