Three Rivers stops State Fair

State Fair Community College missed a chance to move into a tie with Three Rivers for second place in the Region 16 men’s basketball standings.
Three Rivers (19-5, 4-2) beat the Roadrunners 63-52 Saturday night in Poplar Bluff. They fell to 16-9 and 2-3.
Justyn Watkins paced State Fair with 12 points.
Marquise Carter, the region’s second-leading scorer, tallied 25.
Three Rivers led 27-20 at halftime.
