Prep boys basketball: Northwest 50, Stover 42

Cortlen Austin scored a game-high 20 points and ninth-seeded Northwest knocked off No. 8 Stover 50-42 on Friday in opening-round play of the Kaysinger Conference tournament at the Davis Center.
Garrett Goetze notched 12 points and 10 rebounds for Stover, which fell to 4-15 on the season.
The Mustangs held quarter leads of 15-7, 27-15 and 37-32.
