The Northwest Invitational boys and girls basketball tournaments have revamped their schedule for this week.
Tuesday night’s games were postponed until tonight because of the weather.
The Stover-Bunceton and Northwest-Green Ridge girls games will be at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. today.
The Green Ridge-Bunceton and Sacred Heart-La Monte boys games will be at 6 and 9 p.m. today.
The consolation semifinals will be Thursday, and the championship semifinals are set for Friday.
All trophy games will be Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. The girls championship game will be at 6 p.m. followed the boys final at 7:30 p.m.
El Dorado Springs 67, Warsaw 57
The Warsaw Wildcats couldn’t claw back from a 21-point halftime deficit Tuesday night at El Dorado Springs.
The Wildcats (0-3) cut their deficit to seven points in the fourth quarter, according to Warsaw coach Scott Gemes.
Corey Stackhouse paced Warsaw with 18 points. Johnny Eierman added 17.
Dusty Hooper scored a game-high 20 points for El Dorado Springs.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Knob Noster 52, Sherwood 42
The Knob Noster Panthers built a big lead over the first three quarters Monday night en route to a victory in their home opener.
The Panthers led 17-9 after one quarter and 27-18 at halftime in a girls basketball game at Knob Noster.
Kyra Williams paced Knob Noster with 20 points. She went 7-for-8 from the free throw line and had a team-high two steals.
Sarah Tyler had game highs of nine rebounds and five assists. She scored 13 points.
Christina Jones added 13 points.
Sweet Springs 46, Santa Fe 44
Stephanie Krause scored the game-winner with four seconds left Monday night in the first round of the I-70 Conference girls basketball tournament.
Sweet Springs coach Boyd Jones said that Brittany Higgins got a steal and threw a long pass to Krause who made a layup in a game played in Sweet Springs.
Higgins and Krause finished with 13 points each. Kristin Jones added 10 points. Rachel Thornton just missed a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.
Kathleen Tyler led Sweet Springs with 13 assists.
Molly Blomberg paced Santa Fe with 13 points.
Sweet Springs led 9-8 after one quarter, 17-16 at halftime and 30-27 after three quarters.
