Dresden 4-H Club
Reagan Sneed called the Dresden 4-H Club meeting to order at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15 at the La Monte United Methodist Church.
A $100 donation was given to Old Drum and Friends Animal Shelter since the club wasn’t able to volunteer due to COVID restrictions. The suggested changes from the October meeting were made to the Dresden 4-H Constitution and By-Laws, and those updates were approved. The club decided to have a gift exchange with the gift being $5 or less at the December meeting.
Jamie Dehan was the guest speaker. She spoke about Cyber Safety – SMART — and passed out informational handouts. The members then played a safety game. Reagan and Rhett Sneed gave a demonstration on how to make “Christmas Treats - the Grinch and Reindeer.” Then, members made thank you cards for veterans in honor of Veterans Day.
The next meeting will be at 5 p.m. Dec. 20 at the La Monte United Methodist Church. Members need to bring items for the La Monte United Methodist Church Food Pantry, a special Christmas treat, and a $5 or less gift for the gift exchange.
