BRHC Auxiliary
The Bothwell Health Center Auxiliary Board met Nov. 11 with 12 members present. The meeting was called to order by President Karen Kay Taylor. The minutes were read and approved and the treasurer’s report was also approved from October.
The total volunteer hours for October were 659 hours. Four volunteers received their pins this month for their hours worked: Kay Butler, 1,000 hours; Sheri Matz, 200 hours; Virginia McAllister, 6,500 hours; and Linda Reed, 100 hours.
Sonja Corcoran was installed as the new nomination chairman.
Since the hospital has changed the hours for visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Auxiliary Gift Shop’s hours have also been changed to 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The Amazing Volunteer for the month of November is Mary Luukkonen. Luukkonen joined the Auxiliary in 2013. Thank You, Mary, for a job well done.
Christmas merchandise is now available for sale in the Gift Shop.
The Auxiliary is glad the Bothwell Regional Health Center is open and serving the community. It is also glad the Auxiliary Gift Shop is open as well. Those interested in becoming an Auxiliary volunteer should call Sara at 660-827-0343.
The Auxiliary also needs to give a huge “thank you” to all the staff working at Bothwell. This is a difficult time for everyone and the Auxiliary is grateful to all the workers for their dedication.
