One injured in single-vehicle crash

A Sedalia juvenile was injured in a crash at 6:17 p.m. Tuesday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 16-year-old was driving southbound on Pleasant Hill Road, south of Green Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The juvenile overcorrected and their vehicle struck a power pole.

The juvenile suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle.

Woman injured on U.S. Route 50

A woman was injured in a crash at 4:27 a.m. Wednesday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Chaity R. Tate, 43, of Warrensburg, was driving eastbound on U.S. Route 50, at County Road Northwest 250, when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Tate suffered minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by the Johnson County Ambulance District.

Two injured in Moniteau crash

Two individuals were injured in a single-vehicle crash at 10:27 a.m. Wednesday in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Anthony M. Chrum, 74, of Pacific, was driving westbound on U.S. Route 50 at state Route H when he failed to negotiate a curve after experiencing a medical emergency. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway and then back onto the roadway. The vehicle then traveled off the right side of the roadway a second time and struck a mailbox and highway sign. The vehicle returned to the roadway before traveling off the left side of the roadway again and striking an electrical pole guide wire. The vehicle then crossed over Long Branch Road and struck a fence.

Chrum suffered moderate injuries and his passenger, Kathryn D. Kingsbury, 70, of Illinois, suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City by the Mid-Mo Ambulance District.
