Two hurt in Pettis accident

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 10:05 p.m. Friday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Le’Messia M. Barbour, 23, of Sedalia, was driving south on state Route 127 when she attempted to cross U.S. Route 50. Her vehicle was struck by a westbound vehicle driven by Thomas F. Pittman, 58, of Bunceton. 

Barbour and a 15-year-old passenger from Sedalia were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Two hurt in Saline wreck

Two people suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Robyn N. Hollon, 24, of Slater, was driving west on state Route C at state Route NN when her vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.

Hollon and a 15-year-old passenger from Slater were taken by EMS to University Hospital in Columbia for their injuries. Reports indicate neither was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Woman seriously injured in Johnson County

A Lexington woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:05 a.m. Monday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Galene C. Seitz, 49, was driving south on state Route 13 south of NW 1000 Road when she traveled over an ice-covered portion of the road. Her vehicle traveled off the east side of the road and struck a tree before it began to overturn and rotate counterclockwise. It came to rest on its wheels.

Seitz, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg for her injuries.

Leeton man hurt in accident.

A Leeton man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 9:52 a.m. Monday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Elvis R. Ash, 52, was driving west on state Route 2, a half-mile east of state Route 13, when he traveled over an ice-covered portion of the road. His vehicle traveled off the south side of Route 13 and began to rotate counterclockwise and overturned. It came to rest on its roof.

Ash, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for his injuries.

Hermann woman injured in crash

A Hermann woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 4 p.m. Monday in Johnson County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gabriela N. Schannuth, 24, was driving west on U.S. Route 50 at NW 671st Road when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. It came to rest on its roof.

Schannuth, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Stover man seriously injured

A Stover man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 2:26 a.m. Sunday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, James V. Cios Jr., 48, was driving west on state Route 51, 142 feet west of Cottonwood Road, when his vehicle slid off the left side of the road. It struck a stump and a tree.

Cios, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center for his injuries.

Man hurt in Morgan accident

A Stover man suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 11:32 a.m. Monday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Keith M. Packard, 46, was driving east on state Route 52, 1 mile east of state Route T, when his vehicle slid off the right side of the road, struck a driveway, and overturned onto the driver’s side.

Packard, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach for his injuries.

Barnett man hurt in crash

A Barnett man suffered moderate injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jerry D. Cook, 76, was driving south on state Route 5, 1,425 feet north of state Route TT North Junction, when his vehicle slid off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned. It came to rest on its wheels off the roadway.

Cook, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach for his injuries.
