Odessa woman hurt in Johnson crash

An Odessa woman received minor injuries at 10:15 a.m. March 20 in a crash in Johnson County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cassandra A. Williams, 27, was driving a 2018 Dodge Journey westbound on U.S. 50 at Business 50 West when a 2001 GMC Yukon, also traveling westbound, driven by Irene E. Hayes, 61, of Sedalia, was slowing to make a left turn. Williams overtook and struck the Yukon. 

Williams was transported by Johnson County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Lee’s Summit man injured in Pettis motorcycle accident

A Lee’s Summit man received moderate injuries in an accident at 7:32 p.m. March 20 in Pettis County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jerry J. Roberts, 55, was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson westbound on U.S. 50 west of Carroll Road when he struck a deer and was ejected. The vehicle came to rest in the left lane. 

Roberts was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg. He was wearing a safety device. 

Marshall man seriously injured in Saline accident 

A Marshall man was seriously injured in a crash at 11:30 p.m. March 20 in Saline County. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Chadwick E. Lamb, 45, was driving eastbound on I-70 at mile marker 71 when his 2019 Cadillac XTS traveled off the left side of the roadway, back onto the roadway, then off the right side of the road and overturned. 

Lamb, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
