One injured in Moniteau crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 10:44 a.m. Friday in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Jeffery S. Roberts, 58, of Tipton, was driving south on state Route 5, 464 feet before Mineral Street, and were overtaking three other vehicles when they lost control of their vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a roadway sign, utility pole and fence.

Roberts suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City by ambulance.

One injured in Pettis crash

A man was injured in a crash at 11:30 p.m. Friday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Wayne J. Lilley, 44, of Windsor, was driving southbound on Grand Avenue Road at Park Road when his vehicle traveled off the roadway, and struck an embankment and utility pole.

Lilley suffered moderating injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Pettis County Ambulance District.

One arrested in Henry crash

A man was seriously injured in a crash at 3:25 a.m. Saturday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Dustin R. Bailey, 30, of Clinton, was driving southbound on state Route 7, just north of Southeast 350 Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle then returned to the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.

Bailey suffered serious injuries and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence by air ambulance.

Bailey was arrested in Henry County for driving while intoxicated.

Two injured in motorcycle crash

Two individuals were injured, one seriously, in a crash at 1:15 p.m. Saturday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gary G. Kennedy, 45, of Sedalia, was driving a motorcycle south on state Route W, .2 miles south of the Marvin Cutoff, when he failed to negotiate a curve and his vehicle traveled off the southwest side of the road and overturned, ejecting him and his passenger.

Kennedy suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Mid-Mo Ambulance District. His passenger Alisa C. Kennedy, 46, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries but refused treatment.

One injured in Saline crash

A man was injured in a crash at 6:40 p.m. Saturday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Timothy W. Cornine, 61, of Marshall, was driving westbound in the 25400 block of 122nd Trail when they failed to yield to another westbound vehicle driven by Daygun M. Weber, 33, of La Monte, and backed into their vehicle.

Weber’s occupant, Michael D. Schafer, 38, of Sedalia, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia by private vehicle.

One injured and arrested in Pettis crash

A man was injured and arrested in a crash at 2:50 a.m. Sunday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Kieon X. Davis, 19, of Sedalia, was driving north on U.S. Route 65 at Rose Road when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a utility pole.

His passenger, Mathevs Guedes, 20, of Sedalia, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.

Kieon was arrested at 3:39 a.m. in Pettis County for felony driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in an accident.

One injured in Benton crash

A man was injured in a crash at 4:45 a.m. Monday in Benton County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, David P. Iekel, 29, of Nebraska, was driving a freightliner southbound on state Route 7, .8 miles west of Jackson Avenue, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Iekel suffered minor injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by emergency medical services.
