Woman hurt in Pettis crash

A Sedalia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:33 p.m. Friday in Pettis County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Destiny K. Allen, 18, was driving west on U.S. Route 50 as Michael K. Mitchell, 50, of Montrose, was driving a Mack truck south on state Route MM. Allen failed to stop for a red signal and struck the left side of Mitchell’s towed unit as it crossed U.S. 50.

Allen was taken by the Pettis County Ambulance District to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg with minor injuries.

Kansas woman seriously injured

An Overland Park, Kansas, woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 7:49 a.m. Friday in Morgan County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Amy M. Larabee, 43, was driving north on state Route W, 179 feet north of South Marvin Road, when she lost control of her vehicle on gravel. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and hit the ditch and numerous trees.

Larabee, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by MU Air Care to University Hospital in Columbia.

Man seriously injured in Moniteau

A Jamestown man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 1:05 p.m. Friday in Moniteau County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Sean P. Boettcher, 41, was driving west on Red Bird Road, 1,858 feet east of Elliot School Road, when her vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Boettcher was taken by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.
