Two injured in three-vehicle crash

Two individuals were injured in a crash at 8:15 a.m. Monday in Saline County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Loren K. Garrett, 25, of Sedalia, was stopped in her vehicle on the left side of the road after being involved in another crash on I-70 at Blackwater Bridge. Another vehicle driven by Sandra L. Summers, 57, of Sweet Springs, was stopped on the right side of the road. A westbound vehicle driven by Katelyn K. Harris, 20, of Lexington, then struck Summers’ vehicle and then struck Garrett’s.

Harris and Garrett both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall by emergency medical services.

Two injured in Henry crash

Two individuals were injured in a crash at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in Henry County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnston W. Hammer, 27, of Bolivar, was driving south on state Route 7, one mile north of Northwest 701 Road, when he lost control of his vehicle on an ice-covered road. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Hammer and his passenger, Meghan R. Holloway, 26, of Albany, both suffered minor injuries and were taken to Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare in Clinton by Golden Valley Emergency Medical Services.
