Windsor livestock auction market report for Feb. 3

Receipts, 2,245 HD; 4% cows. Compared to last week, steers and heifer calves sold steady to $5 higher. Corn prices are still climbing, causing yearling prices to soften. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $5 to $10 higher. 

Steers medium and large frame, 300 to 400 pounds, $158 to $181.50; 400 to 500 pounds, $151 to $180.50; 500 to 600 pounds, $143 to $180; 600 to 700 pounds, $133 to $156.50; 700 to 800 pounds, $123 to $146; 800 to 900 pounds, $115 to $134.25. 

Small frame of fleshy steers and bulls, 400 to 700 pounds, $110 to $150.

Heifers medium and large frame No. 1, 300 to 400 pounds, $133 to $154; 400 to 500 pounds, $124 to $159; 500 to 600 pounds, $122 to $150; 600 to 700 pounds, $110 to $140; 700 to 800 pounds, $100 to $134.25; 800 to 900 pounds, $95 to $123.

Small frame or fleshy heifers, 400 to 700 pounds, $85 to $124.

Weigh cows bulk, $58 to $63; high dressing, $62 to $70; low dressing, $40 back; bull bulk, $90 to $101.
