Windsor livestock auction market report for April 7

Receipts, 1,553 HD; 12% cows. Compared to last week, all classes of steers and heifers sold mostly $5 to $10 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold mostly $2 to $4 higher. 

Steers medium and large frame, 300 to 400 pounds $190 to $211; 400 to 500 pounds, $188 to $205; 500 to 600pounds, $175 to $184; 600 to 700 pounds, $157 to $171; 700 to 800 pounds, $144 to $157; 800 to 900 pounds, $135 to $143.50. 

Small frame or fleshy steers and bulls, 400 to 700 pounds, $121 to $174;

Heifers medium and large frame No. 1, 300 to 400 pounds, $154 to $175; 400 to 500 pounds, $145 to $173; 500 to 600 pounds, $140 to $159; 600 to 700 pounds, $130 to $150.25; 700 to 800 pounds, $122 to $141.25; 800 to 900 pounds, $119 ot $131.

Small frame or fleshy heifers, 400 to 700 pounds, $118 to $141.

Weigh cows bilk, $63 to $69; high dressing, $70 to 80; low dressing, $57, back; bulls bulk, $92 to $108.
