This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests
June 18
12:53 p.m.: Arron C. Ray, 30, of the 2000 block of East 15th Street, was issued a summons after officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of East 14th Street in reference to a harassment report. The complainant said a neighbor threatened to kill him. A court summons was issued to Ray for public peace disturbance.
3:44 p.m.: Christopher L. Baker, 52, of Windsor, was arrested after a traffic stop in the area of Fifth Street and State Fair Boulevard for not using a turn signal. Dispatch stated the driver had a revoked driver's license out of Missouri and Baker was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released.
4 p.m.: Donald C. Cunningham, 31, of Smithton received a summons after a traffic stop near the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and East 12th Street in which a computer check of the driver showed his driver's license was suspended. Cunningham was issued a citation.
7:25 p.m.: Robert Paddon Bower, 36, of the 300 block of East Second Street was arrested after an officer conducted a warrant check in the 200 block of East 13th Street. The subject fled on foot as the officer arrived and was arrested after a brief foot pursuit. Bower had an active probation and parole warrant as well as three felony warrants out of Pettis County.
June 19
2:46 p.m.: Alberto Cano, 24, of the 600 block of North Stewart Avenue, was arrested after a traffic stop near the intersection of West Second Street and South Grand Avenue. A smell of marijuana caused a search of the vehicle where marijuana was found. Cano was arrested at the scene and taken to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released.
8:47 p.m.: Arthur S. Prall, 51, of the 400 block of Buckner Court, was arrested after officers responded to West 16th Street near South Harrison Avenue for a subject check. Prall was located inside of Casey's and was highly intoxicated. He was placed under arrest for protective custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
June 20
2:37 a.m.: Paul A. Bogle, 46, of the 500 block of South Grand Avenue, was arrested after a traffic stop in the 1600 block of South Limit Avenue for a vehicle that failed to maintain it’s lane. Bogle consented to a search of the vehicle where illegal drugs were located. He was arrested, transported to the Pettis County Jail, and charged with drug possession-other dangerous drugs.
8:36 a.m.: Brandon Pesqual Vasquez, 25, of the 300 block of North New York Avenue, was arrested after officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Tower Street in reference to a subject check. The caller said the subject was sleeping in their vehicle in the front yard. A computer check revealed an active warrant from Arkansas. Vasquez was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail for a 24-hour hold pending State charges of fugitive from justice.
10:40 a.m.: Joshua L. Miller, 36, of Warsaw, was arrested after an officer responded to Tractor Supply Company in regard to found stolen property. Property was returned to the owner and a subject was arrested at the scene. The subject was in possession of controlled substances and a weapon and was taken to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and held for 24-hour pending charges of drug possession-other dangerous drug, unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a concealable weapon, receiving stolen property, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
Incidents
June 16
12:43 a.m.: A report of an alleged assault was taken at the Police Department lobby that occurred in the 400 block of West Seventh Street. It was reported to officers the subject was slapped in the arm by a known individual. The case is under investigation. 
June 18
6:20 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of East 24th Street for a theft report. The victim stated that someone broke into his tool trailer and stole approximately $4,600 worth of tools.
8:53 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of West Third Street for a theft report. The complainant stated someone pried open a door and gained entry to the concession stand. At the time of the report it was not known if anything was actually taken.
11:10 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to South Limit Avenue and West 16th Street for a report of a hit-and-run accident. The victim stated that a vehicle struck her vehicle then left the scene without leaving any of their information.

12:09 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the area of 16th Street and South Kentucky Avenue for a reported disturbance with weapons. The victim stated the suspect had been tailgating her down 16th Street. She stated she pulled over to let the suspect drive by and stopped and pointed a weapon at her and her family. The victim stated she pulled a phone up to call police and the suspect left the area. The suspect vehicle was not located at the time of the report.
June 19
7:17 a.m.: An officer responded to the 700 block of West Main Street in regard to a burglary no longer in progress. Evidence was taken at the scene and submitted to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crime lab.
8:40 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1300 block of East 11th Street in reference to a theft. The caller said his son stole a generator and pawned it. The case was referred to the prosecutor's office.
6:40 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1200 Block of South Garfield Avenue for a theft report. The reporting party stated that someone entered his garage and took a couple of items. A report was taken and the incident was documented.
8:44 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1900 block of South Missouri Avenue for a report of a missing person. They made contact with the reporting party and collected information then entered the person as missing.
9 p.m.: Garrett Charles Green, 30, of the 1600 block of South Carr Avenue, was issued multiple summons after officers responded to the 800 block of East 13th Street for a traffic complaint. After determining the suspect and speaking to witnesses, Green was released on multiple summons for operation of a motorcycle without a license, and loud noise-vehicle horns, radios, and animals. 
10:10 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1300 Block of South Kentucky Avenue in reference to harassment. When officers arrived, the male suspect was not on scene.
June 20
5:46 p.m.: A theft of a wallet from a vehicle was reported to the police department.

Arrests
June 19
Midnight: Deputies took a report for possible trespassing and stealing that occurred in the 21000 block of Cloney Road, Pettis County. The investigation continues. 
3:40 a.m.: Pettis County Deputy conducted a traffic stop in the area of 18th Street and U.S. Highway 65 in Sedalia for an equipment violation. During the stop the front seat passenger, Chelsea Moore, was found to have an active warrant for her arrest. The driver, Cora Hathaway, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Both parties were arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Arrests 
June 18
9:10 a.m.: Richard L. Kindle, 63, of Clinton, Missouri was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
June 20
1:42 a.m.: Christopher M. Rucker, 24, of Knob Noster, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated and speeding. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
1:15 p.m.: Shane P. Summers, 25, of Eldon, was arrested in Morgan County for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana, and no seat belt. He was released on a summons.
