Arrests

Nov. 18

7:15 p.m.: An officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle for not having license plates on East Fifth Street at South Hancock Avenue. An investigation revealed a handgun, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Victor D. Grapes Jr., 50, of Sedalia, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and unlawful possession of a concealable weapon. Julia D. Pennington, 59, of the 22700 block of state Route T, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, distribution of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful transfer of a weapon. Eric S. Koons, 31, of East Fifth Street, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Incidents

Nov. 18

6:24 p.m.: Officers responded to the 1100 block of East 15th Street for a burglary. The complainant reported someone entered their home while they were at work and stole some items.
