The Sedalia Police Department is investigating the suspicious death of two males.
According to an SPD news release, around 10:15 a.m. Thursday, the SPD received a call about a suspicious death at a residence in the 1700 block of South Harrison Avenue. Upon arrival, officers checked the residence for victims and located two deceased males. SPD has not released the victims’ names because their next of kin have not been notified, the release states.
Officers and detectives were processing the scene for evidence Thursday night and working to determine the cause of death. Police Chief Matt Wirt told the Democrat the department is still determining the next steps in the investigation.
“We don’t have a lot of information at this time, we’re still processing the scene,” he said by phone Thursday night.
