Weekly Report: Pettis County Commission makes a new appointment, looks for new products

During daily meetings June 7 to June 11, the Pettis County Commission completed the following:

June 7: No action taken.

June 8: No Quorum.

June 9: The Commission sent Payroll and Benefits Specialist Marie Kringle and Assistant to the Commission Kristen Anderson to Virtual Training for County Financial Software Incode 10.

June 10: No Action Taken.

June 11: The Commission held a Zoom meeting with Esri Technologies in order to see what products the company has available for use with varying departments within the County. Present were Solution Engineer for State and Local Government Chase Fisher and Esri’s Account Manager for Pettis County Jean Jeanotte. Also present was I.T. Director Luke Goosen, GIS Director James Theisen and Sedalia Democrat

Commission moved to table the vote on the Amendments to the Food and Waste Water

Ordinances pending further information.

The Commission moved to appoint Brenda Kaiser to fill the vacant seat left by Brendan Hurley on the Pettis County Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled to finish the term ending on July 30, 2021.

The census for the Pettis County Jail for the week of May 24 is 143 inmates.

The Pettis County Commission meets at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday in Commission Chambers on the second floor of the Pettis County Courthouse.
