Friday's Legion state tournament games rained out

Blue Springs-Fike beat Washington 12-8 late Thursday night in the first round of the American Legion state baseball tournament at Liberty Park Stadium.
The second first-round game between Carthage and defending state champ Festus was rained out Thursday night, and no games were played Friday because of the weather.
