MAP Honorees
Courtney Davis, Title I Instructional Coach at Horace Mann Elementary School, places a medal around the neck of Sedalia Middle School fifth grader Miguel Torres on Monday in the middle school cafeteria. Horace Mann teachers and administrators honored students who, as fourth graders last school year at Horace Mann, scored proficient or advanced in mathmatics and communication arts on the Missouri Assessment Program test. The students received medals and certificates, as well as donut holes, cookies, orange juice and chocolate milk. Miguel scored at the proficient level in math and the advanced level in communication arts.
