Sedalia's first significant snow fall of the winter and many residents already are weary of navigating around or plowing through banks of snow dreading the sound of spinning tires at every stop. But for Thomas Bentley, left, and Leroy Leffler the snow means an opportunity to earn some extra cash by clearing the walks along storefronts in downtown Sedalia. They catch a breather Friday at West Fourth Street and South Ohio Avenue, having spent more than five hours shoveling snow.
