After giving her flowers and a hug, Noah Burnett, a Smith-Cotton High School sophomore, sings Happy Birthday on Thursday to his grandmother, Dorene Burnett, a part-time food service worker at Skyline Elementary School. Students and staff in the cafeteria joined in the singing. "That was a surprise, I didn't have a clue," said Dorene, who turns 70 and has worked at Skyline Elementary School four years since retiring from Walmart. Burnett said she was lured out of the kitchen into the dining area after she was told she needed to go to the office.
