“Garden Ballet,” made from professional slide film, is one of Bemiss’s earlier photos during the 1990s.
“State Fair Nights,” a digitally enhanced layered photo, was taken by Bemiss in 2011 at the Missouri State Fair. “I went out there to try to get some nighttime exposures for a Lifetime Learning class I was teaching last fall,” she said.
“Swan Lake,” a pastel by Bemiss, was created by referencing one of her photos taken with professional slide film.
