Jessica Christine Lamm and Phillip Michael Staus, both of Sedalia, were married at 1 p.m. April 10 at St. Patrick Church in Sedalia.
The bride is the daughter is the daughter of Mike Lamm, of Otterville, and Stephanie Wasson, of St. Clair. The groom is the son of Mike and Gina Staus, of Sedalia.
The Rev. James Betzen conducted the ceremony. Joyce Woolery was the organist. Julie Branz was a vocalist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Breeann Brandle, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Malleasa Staus, sister of the groom, and Barbara Brandt, aunt of the groom, were bridesmaids. Katie Jo Staus, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl. Austin and Sara Staus, cousins of the groom, were candlelighters.
Joshua Staus, brother of the groom, was the best man. David Staus, uncle of the groom, and Trenton Phillips were groomsmen. Lane Brandt, cousin of the groom, was the ring bearer. Harold Staus and Robert Risner, uncles of the groom, were ushers.
A rehearsal dinner was held by the groom’s parents April 9 at Joyous Chinese in Sedalia. The reception was at the Triple F Cafe building in Ionia.
The bride, a 2006 graduate of Otterville High School, is working toward a degree in nursing at State Fair Community College. She is a certified nurse’s aide at Fair View Nursing Home.
The groom, a 2006 graduate of Sacred Heart High School, is working toward a degree in building materials and merchandising at SFCC. He works at Sutherland’s in Sedalia.
The couple honeymooned at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson. They live in Sedalia.
