WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo. – The prisoners of war and missing-in-action flag flies as personnel with the 509th Communications Squadron, complete their leg of the POW/MIA run, Sept. 18, 2009. The POW/MIA run is a 24-hour torch and flag run to honor prisoners of war and missing-in-action personnel. Staff Sgt Amir Hasan, and Staff Sgt. Brandon Lines, 509th Munitions Squadron, organized the 24 hour run and scheduled it to kick off at 6 a.m. the morning of the Air Forces 62nd anniversary.
