Mr. and Mrs. John Detherage will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 with a dessert bar at Parkview Christian Church.
Christine Lampman and John Detherage were married Feb. 14, 1958, by the Rev. Cleo Gary at the Leeton Christian Church in Leeton.
Mr. Detherage retired after serving 35 years as a serviceman for Missouri Public Service. He still enjoys working with his cow and calf operation. Mrs. Detherage is retired from Kay’s Bridal. She is a volunteer for the Bothwell Regional Health Center Auxiliary.
The couple have two children, John Roger (Elaine) Detherage, of La Monte, and Tammy Renee (Doug) Keckler, of Independence; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration at Parkview Christian Church, 1405 E. 16th St. The couple request no gifts.
