Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hunton, of Sedalia, will observe their 50th anniversary June 9.
Glenda Faye Rozier and Gerald Clayton Hunton were married June 9, 1969, at Broadway Presbyterian Church by the Rev. James W. Williams.
Mrs. Hunton is a graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Kansas City. She is retired from Bothwell Regional Health Center where she spent most of her career. She continues to work part time at BRHC.
Mr. Hunton received his doctoral degree in education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He taught driver education and social studies in Concordia, Sweet Springs and Kansas City. He also served as an assistant professor in the safety department at Central Missouri State University during his career in education.
The couple have one son, Aaron (Melissa) Hunton, of Sedalia; and five grandsons.
