Mr. and Mrs. Robert Porter, of Smithon, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Feb. 17 with an open house hosted by their nieces and nephews from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Otterville Community Center.
Evelyn Streit and Robert Porter were married Feb. 17, 1968, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sedalia by the Rev. George Sparling.
Mr. Porter is retired from Waterloo Industries in Sedalia. Mrs. Porter is retired from Sedalia School District 200.
Friends and family are invited to the open house. The couple request no gifts.
