Mr. and Mrs. David Rouchka will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16 with a reception hosted by their children at Best Western State Fair Inn.
Myldred Lousie Gibson and David Rouchka were married June 22, 1968, at Sacred Heart Church in Sedalia by Father Growney. The couple will renew their vows at 6:30 p.m. June 16 at Sacred Heart Church with Father Mark Miller officiating.
Mr. Rouchka owns Medallion Electric Co. Mrs. Rouchka retired after teaching 31 years in the Pattonville and Otterville School Districts and Sacred Heart School in Sedalia.
The couple have three children, Sarah Rouchka, of Overland Park, Kansas, Eric (Jenny) Rouchka, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Susan Rouchka (Matt Backer), of Louisville, Kentucky, and two grandsons.
Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration. The couple request no gifts.
