Mr. and Mrs. Clay Young observed their 70th anniversary Feb. 1.
Mary Ellen Parks and Clay Young were married Feb. 1, 1948.
Mrs. Young is retired from Lamy Manufacturing Co. Mr. Young is retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
The couple have four children, Steve (Cissy) Young, of Lake of the Ozarks, Connie (Stuart) Millbern, of Blue Springs, Gary (Carla) Young, of Sedalia, and Doug (Linda) Young, of Pleasant Hill; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
