Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bauer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 28.
Wilma Sue Horst and Edward W. Brauer were married Dec. 28, 1968, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Sedalia by Father Henry Riechart and Pastor Orylan Saathoff.
Mr. Brauer spent most of his working career as a truck driver at Pittsburg Corning and as a cattle and hog farmer. He was the 1976 Master Pork producer for District 7.
Mrs. Bauer’s career spanned 50 years as an R.N. at Bothwell Regional Health Center.
They have two children, Ray (Mardell) Brauer, of Mankato, Minnesota, and Scott (Melessia) Brauer, of Harrisonville; and seven grandchildren.
