Betty Jo Kinshella will celebrate her 91st birthday with a birthday celebration hosted by Vicki Weaver and Christine Kinshella from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb 4 at the Sylvia Thompson Residence Center, 3333 W. 10th St., in Sedalia.
Betty Jo taught in a one-room schoolhouse before becoming part owner of Dog n Suds. She also worked at Butternut Bakery and was a sample hostess at Woods Supermarket before her retirement. Betty Jo enjoyed dancing and collecting many things, which she loved to share with family and friends.
She was married to the late Ralph B. Kinshella. She has five children, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
