Marion Schmidt, of Sedalia, will celebrate his 100th birthday at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 in the fellowship hall at New Hope Baptist Church, 664 E. 16th St. The event will be hosted by his family.
Marion was born Dec. 4, 1917.
He was married to the late Ruth Schmidt.
Marion has three children, John Schmidt, the late Marion Schmidt Jr., and Judy Schmidt Meyer, all of Sedalia; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
