Sherry Thompson and the late Charles Thompson, of Sedalia, announce the engagement of their daughter Angela Thomas to Kevin Smith, both of Hughesville. He is the son of Roy and Connie Smith, of Mansfield, Louisiana.
The future bride graduated in 1983 from Smith-Cotton High School and attended State Fair Community College from 1983-85. She is the executive director at the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce.
The future groom attended Stanley High School in Logansport, Louisiana. He is employed as a cowboy for Brown Farms.
A wedding is planned for May 19, 2018, at the Brown Farms North 65 Barn.
