Pettis County Courthouse Clock Restoration Request for Proposal Pettis County Commission is seeking proposals to conduct restoration / replacement of the Clock or it's components at the courthouse of Pettis County, located at 415 South Ohio Ave., Sedalia, Missouri. The commission is asking for the exposed components to be refinished, if possible, but if necessary the clock face replaced with a historically appropriate fixture. The internal mechanism should be updated and modernized with electronic and motorized time keeping. The option to have clock gears, internal components, and unused parts carefully removed and preserved for display is requested. Restoration process and new component schematics must meet the State Historical Preservation Office of the Department of Natural Resources standard. Any specified products and process will be subject to submission for review with their office. Any equipment rentals, such as man lifts, and necessary PPE required must be supplied by the business and all charges involved must be included in the proposal. Project must be completed no later than April 30, 2025. Please include projected completion date in proposal. Pre bid walk-through may be conducted upon scheduling with Facilities and Grounds Director. Sealed proposals must be mailed or hand delivered no later than February 13, 2025 at 9:59 am to the County Clerk's Office at Pettis County Annex 1, 215 E. 5th Street, Sedalia, Missouri. Proposal Opening will occur February 13, 2025 at 10:00 am in the Pettis County Commission Chambers. Pettis County Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
