Arrests

April 23

5:40 p.m.: Terry R. Johnson, 47, of the 3800 block of South Ingram Avenue, was arrested on charges of first-degree property damage, fourth-degree misdemeanor assault and careless driving. An officer was dispatched to the 300 block of West Seventh Street for a report of property damage. Two complainants said Johnson was in his vehicle doing burnouts in a gravel parking lot. His truck reportedly threw rocks onto one of the complainants and damaged the other’s vehicle. One complainant had noticeable injuries, and the vehicle had an estimated $1,000 worth of damage.

Incidents

April 24

10:45 a.m.: An officer discovered information about a suspect printing duplicate tickets for Rockfest and selling the same tickets to several people in the area. The suspect reportedly admitted to the accusations and provided information to help locate the victims. At the time of the report, the officer had not located all of the people who bought fabricated tickets.

11:05 a.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 700 block of East 17th Street for a report of a violation of a court order. The witness said her sister has an ex-parte order of protection against a suspect. She said the suspect came to her house that day, asking if she could get her sister to drop the order against him. The officer is seeking charges against the suspect.
