Sedalia Police Department

Arrests

June 11

11:15 p.m.: Michael Vincent Frain, 37, of Independence, was arrested on a charge of violating an order of protection. An officer was dispatched to the 800 block of West Seventh Street for a complaint of trespassing and violating a protection order. The caller said he had a protection order against Frain that prevented him from being within 100 yards of the residence. The complainant also said two subjects were there, though they had been evicted from a residence and were trespassing. The officer spoke with the two subjects who had been evicted. They had apparently made an agreement with the property manager to continue to remove things from the property. The officer was able to confirm that a valid, full order of protection was still in place for the caller and that Frain had received the proper notice of it.
