Arrests

March 22

3:10 a.m.: Robert E. Stockstill, 50, of Warsaw, and James E. Riga, 33, were arrested on a charge of first-degree property damage. Officers responded to the 1700 block of South Kentucky Avenue in reference to possible property damage. Subjects were reportedly seen tampering with two vending machines in the area. The officers stopped three subjects in a vehicle matching the caller’s provided description leaving the area. One subject, Shyenne M. Long, had two warrants from Benton County, one for failure to appear and another for a probation violation. The other two subjects were arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold.

9:45 p.m.: Paul John Schraml IV, 26, of the 100 block of East 13th Street, received a municipal court summons for a charge of possession of marijuana. An officer stopped Schraml’s vehicle for an expired Kansas license plate in the area of West 16th Street and South Grand Avenue. Investigation reportedly revealed he was in possession of marijuana.

March 23

1:45 a.m.: Alexa Reanna Mathis, 22, of the 1300 block of South Carr Avenue, was arrested on a charge of second-degree property damage. Officers were dispatched to the area of South Limit Avenue and West 10th Street for property damage. The complainant said a verbal argument occurred between him and Mathis. He said Mathis threw his cellphone out of the car during the argument onto a parking lot in the 2900 block of West Broadway Boulevard. The complainant showed the officer the screen of his cellphone was broken from being thrown from the car. The officer took Mathis into custody.

8:20 p.m.: Melissa C. Standstrom, 46, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County on charges of felony resisting arrest by fleeing, felony child endangerment, and careless and imprudent driving.
