Nebraskans hurt in two-car accident

A man and woman from Nebraska were injured in a Saline County accident at 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Joel K. Fisher, 35, of Waverly, was driving south on U.S. Route 65 past Afton Avenue when he lost control of the dual tires on his commercial truck, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Fisher struck a northbound SUV, driven by Victor C. Green, 70, of Laurel, Nebraska. Green’s vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and came to a rest on its top.

Green and a passenger, Charlene G. Green, 66, of Laurel, Nebraska, both wore seat belts and suffered moderate injuries. They were taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital by ambulance.

Man seriously injured in single-vehicle crash

A man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash at 2:38 p.m. Friday in Moniteau County.

Nicholai J. Clark-Nolin, 25, of Columbia, was driving south on state Route 87, north of Oak Grove Road, when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. His vehicle then overturned and struck a tree.

Clark-Nolin, who had been wearing a seat belt, was taken to the University of Missouri Hospital in an ambulance for treatment.

Sedalia woman hurt in Pettis accident

A Sedalia woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 4:45 a.m. Sunday in Pettis County.

Sabrina R. McKinnon, 22, was driving south on Risler Road, 575 feet south of U.S. Route 50, when her vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. Her vehicle struck a concrete culvert and a fence.

McKinnon, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries and was taken in an ambulance to Bothwell Regional Health Center.

Clinton man arrested for DWI

A Clinton man was hurt after his car went airborne in Henry County at 5:20 p.m. Sunday.

Harvey L. Vice, 54, was driving east on state Route 18, east of 1201st Circle, when his vehicle traveled off the roadway, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. His car became airborne after leaving the road and struck a creek bed.

Vice was not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. He was flown to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for treatment.

Troopers placed Vice under arrest on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, according to a MSHP arrest report.

Two from Sedalia injured in Johnson County

Two men from Sedalia were hurt in a single-vehicle crash at 1:15 a.m. Monday in Johnson County.

Glenn S. Wells, 19, was driving east on U.S. Route 50 west of Devasher Road with Ryan C. Collins, 20, when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

Both Wells and Collins were wearing seat belts and suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by ambulance.
