Reagan Braverman, a senior at Smith-Cotton High School, was presented with a P.E.O. STAR Scholarship during the S-C Senior Awards Ceremony on May 8 at the Heckart Performing Arts Center. Patsy Pettit, representing the LQ Chapter, presented Braverman with a scholarship in the amount of $2,500.

Braverman has been accepted to the University of Missouri-Columbia where she plans to study pediatric oncology. Braverman is the daughter of Adam and Lisa Braverman. 

The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship is based on excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success, The program is open to young women who are citizens or legal permanent residents of the United States or Canada and who are graduating high school seniors at the time of application. A student must be recommended by a P.E.O. Chapter.
